This Is Why I Am Running
It's amazing to see people who moved here 30 years ago trying to take the one spot for new olim. Take this fine gentleman. His proponent said he came to Israel at 23. He is now 57?? That is over 34 years ago?? How is that a representative for the olim?
I chose the Jerusalem region so that Laurent Shlomo Parienti #184 will represent the olim. He made aliyah less than a year ago!
I made aliyah almost 14 years ago. The experience is still fresh in my mind!
Unfortunately people really don't care about our olim.
Luckily I do, and so does Laurent Shlomo Parienti #184 on the list.
